Paranormal Walks Ghost Tours are back for Saturdays this October!

See the woods, wetlands, and grasslands as the seasons change. Eat snacks provided by the Veggie Van and meet community partners working to keep you healthy in the Fresh Air! Inaugural Canal Harvest Festival at Wide Waters Grill

Come Celebrate the Inaugural Canal Harvest Festival, across from Wide Waters Marina, to close out the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal! Stephen Sondheim’s thrilling musical tale of the infamous barber of Fleet Street comes to life at the Historic Palace Theatre! Featuring a full orchestra and a talented cast of actors, this stylized concert version of the Tony Award-winning tale of love, murder, and revenge will transport you to the dark and mysterious streets of Victorian London.
In Goosebumps: Phantom of the Auditorium – The Musical, a school drama club's spooky production is thrown into chaos by eerie happenings and ghostly rumors, leading two curious students to uncover the truth behind a decades-old mystery. Enjoy this Spotlight Performing Artists production at Taylor Theatre from October 24-26th!
Pumpkin Carving Contest at Save the Michaels! Join in on October 24, 1-4 PM for a free community-wide pumpkin carving contest! All supplies provided—we’ve got the pumpkins, carving tools, and paint. We’ll also have drinks and snacks to keep the creativity flowing! Bring the kids! Open to the community. No experience needed—just come ready to have fun! Donations always appreciated.
On Friday, October 24th, from 5pm to 7pm Lockport Main Street will coordinate our annual Downtown Trick or Treat! The community is invited to get in their costumes and come out to trick-or-treat in downtown Lockport. Don’t miss this fun family event!
Lynbrooke Kennels, located at 5283 Saunders Settlement Rd in Lockport, NY, will be hosting a special event featuring a costume contest beginning at 1:00 p.m. Guests and their furry friends can enjoy fun activities such as bobbing for hotdogs and creating paw prints on pumpkins. Nickel City Canine Rescue will also be on-site with adoptable dogs.
All donations from the event will benefit Nickel City Canine Rescue. Attendees are encouraged to bring an item to donate for a chance to win the door prize. Basket raffles will include contributions from Lynbrooke Kennels, Glamour Beauty Bar, The Wax Canvas, LLC, A&C Dumpster Rentals, LLC, Newfane Wine & Liquor, and more. Niagara Hotel will hold a Harry Potter themed Halloween party on Saturday, October 25th! This private, ticketed event costs $25 per person, with tickets available at the bar. Guests can enjoy a themed menu by Donna Eick, specialty drinks, a Honeydukes candy table, and Great Hall-inspired décor. Doors open at 8PM, music by Mad Solution starts around 9PM, and a costume contest with over $400 in prizes will be held at midnight. Tickets are limited.
